The Wolf Border

Editorial reviews

The Wolf Border

“The Wolf Border” is set very much in the moment — not only ecologically but politically, with a Scottish independence referendum vote midway through the action.

This is a book overflowing with life and history, propelled by a writer who engages all the reader’s senses.

It’s debatable whether a novel should embed its own message so deeply as to create a sheen of implausibility, but it is suggestive and provocative enough to survive the attempt, just about.
