Editorial reviews (3 reviews)

We have a way to go yet in this tale, and yet it still has a hold on the reader.

The Tyrant's Law is a very good book and also manages to upend the scales of the over all story arc significantly, making the wait for The Widow's House (4th book) a very hard one. Highly recommended for series fans.

By the end of the book things have again opened up new revelations that make the reader want to know what happens next. It is a credit to Daniel that the narrative pull of the series has increased as the characters have become more solid, the world become more unusual and the situations more complex.
