Mr. Winchester’s various whims, it seems, have a way of taking a reader not just through an ocean, but back to the future.

The perfect book to browse or to dive into on those long flights across the oceanic expanse from San Francisco to Honolulu, or Tokyo to Sydney. “Pacific” is a highly recommended addition to the Winchester oeuvre.
