Zeroes is definitely an exciting beginning to what should be an impressive series.

Zeroes is not without its strengths, including some memorable action scenes and smooth camera shifts from character A to character B. But even here, off-kilter pop-culture references trip up the narrative.

At the end of the day, Zeroes was an ok read – with really great, fun parts but underwhelming on the whole. Given the premise and the authors involved, I am afraid I was expecting a lot more.
